Extra Class Operator

Licensed as an Extra Class operator. Pursued a range of projects in radio, including working with software-defined radios (SDRs) such as the RTL-SDR, experimenting with long-distance HF transmissions via ionospheric propagation (skywave), and designing custom antennas to receive real-time NOAA weather satellite imagery. Designed, built and successfully launched a high-altitude weather balloon to 67,500 feet, equipped with a custom-built GPS tracking system utilizing Arduino and APRS packet transmission in C/C++.
